Venice Python User Group
PyVenice is a meetup community for anyone interested in Python, at all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned professionals, dedicated to promoting Python throughout the Veneto region: it has 546 members and 8 events.
How we organize our meetups
PyVenice is a travelling group: in 2026 we met in Mestre, Padua, Verona, Treviso and Vicenza. The constant is that every meetup is always also in streaming, then saved on YouTube, and in person, like every meetup, it ends with networking, having a drink and a bite together. Each meetup has two talks. Talks are technical: no marketing, except to name your own company or product.
We talk about software development, cloud-native technologies and software engineering; libraries and packaging, from Python and CPython to the integration with Rust; frontend, backend, frameworks and full-stack development; research and applied Python projects; TDD, CI/CD and secure software development; AI coding assistants and developer tools.

Come organizziamo i meetup
PyVenice è un gruppo itinerante: nel 2026 siamo stati a Mestre, Padova, Verona, Treviso e Vicenza. La costante è che ogni meetup è sempre anche in streaming, poi salvato su YouTube, e in presenza, come ogni meetup, finisce in networking, a bere e mangiare qualcosa insieme. Ogni meetup prevede due talk. I talk sono tecnici: niente marketing, se non per nominare la propria azienda o il proprio prodotto.
Parliamo di sviluppo software, tecnologie cloud-native e software engineering; librerie e packaging, da Python e CPython all’integrazione con Rust; frontend, backend, framework e sviluppo full-stack; ricerca e progetti Python applicati; TDD, CI/CD e sviluppo software sicuro; AI coding assistant e strumenti per sviluppatori.
